Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures persistent wear over the lifetime of the cutter.
However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the spare parts. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.
Fastening in the machine:
The product has a drilling for attaching to M18 threads.
When installing the cutter, please assure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
