The X-option of this spare part is made of tool steel. The version has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-versions.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the service life of the cutting crown.
To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is crucial not to armour or weld on this type, as it will significantly weaken the structure.
Fastening in the machine:
The cutting crown has a drilling for attaching to M18 threads.
It is imperative that the cutting crown is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with flat supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
