This cutting crown is to be installed in the Vecoplan VAZ, Vecoplan VEZ, and Vecoplan VEZ model series from Vecoplan.

Cutting performance and durability:

Through the use of various materials and the variance in the cutting shape, the cutting tool can be adjusted to the area of application in terms of throughput and lifespan.

The X-option of this spare part is made of tool steel. The version has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-versions.

Here we offer you a suitable combination of resistance to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the service life of the cutting crown.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is crucial not to armour or weld on this type, as it will significantly weaken the structure.

Fastening in the machine:

The cutting crown has a drilling for attaching to M18 threads.

It is imperative that the cutting crown is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with flat supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.

General characteristics:

The subsequent dimensions are available: 60mm length, 60mm width, 30mm height.
