Compatibility with machines:

The cutter can be installed in the Vecoplan VAZ and Vecoplan VNZ model series from Vecoplan.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the lifespan can be impacted by the material and the cutting geometry. This means that the performance can be well adjusted to the application scenario.

This spare part shown is made of tool steel in the X-option, which is our standard variant for most application areas. The hardness of this cutter is in the medium range.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

Components of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life cycle.

However, this version must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the items. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

This component has a drilling for installing to M18 threads.

When attaching the cutter, please assure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
