Through the use of various materials and the variance in the cutting geometry, the product can be customised to the operational scenario in terms of throughput and service life.

The X-option of this component is made of tool steel. This variant has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-versions.

Here we offer you a perfect combination of insensitivity to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the tool life of the cutter.

However, this version must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the components. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

The cutter has a drilling for attaching to M16 threads.

When installing, please also assure that the support of the cutters is in an undamaged condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.

The measurements of the cutter are 60mm long, 60mm wide and 30mm high.
