This product can be configured to the operational scenario, depending on the particular materials and the variance in cutting geometry.

In the X-option, this cutter is made of tool steel, which is our standard version in most break down applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

Cutting tools of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.

Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The cutter has a drilling for fastening to M12 threads.

When installing the cutter, please ensure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
