This cutter is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-variant, which is the standard option in most applications.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Components of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its tool life.

Hardfacing or welding on this version should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be significantly weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

To install the cutter, the spare part to be adapted has a drilling for M12 threads.

It is imperative that the cutter is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with intact supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
