This cutter is perfectly fitting for crushers, shredders and post-shredders from Vecoplan.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The wear behaviour and thus also the longevity can be influenced by the material and the shape. This means that the efficiency can be well customised to the application.

In comparison to the Y-, X-, W- and W9-variations, the W8-variant wears more rapidly, but in return demonstrates high toughness. This version is insensitive to many impurities and is accordingly suitable for utilizations with demanding conditions. This W8-option has an advantage in terms of sustainability. This is because worn out products can usually be re-welded or re-armoured without resulting in breakage or machine damage. The material is a cold work steel.

In this option, the cutting tools are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the cutter wears homogenously over its lifespan.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The cutter has a drilling for installing to M12 threads.

It is imperative that the cutter is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with flat supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.

The cutting tool measures 40mm in length, 40mm in width and 18.9mm in height.
