Through the use of particular materials and varying the cutting geometry, the component can be matched to the operational scenario in terms of throughput and lifespan.

This cutter is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-option, which is the standard variation in most operational scenarios.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the lifetime of the cutter.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the spare parts. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

The cutter has a drilling for attaching to M12 threads.

When installing the cutter, please assure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
