This cutter is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-version, which is the standard variation in most break down applications.

Here you are offered a good compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

Spare parts of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is crucial not to armour or weld on this type, as it will seriously weaken the structure.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The cutter has a drilling for installing to M12 threads.

When fitting the cutter, please ensure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
