For crushers, shredders, pre-shredders and post-shredders by the company Untha the cutter is excellently applicable.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The cutting geometry and the material used for constructing have a considerable influence on the insensitivity and product lifetime.

The cutter is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-option, which is the standard version in most applications.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the lifetime of the cutting crown.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the cutting tools. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

For installing, the cutter has a drilling for M12 threads.

When fitting the cutter, please assure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.

 

General characteristics:

The dimensions of the cutting crown are 34mm long, 34mm wide and 20mm high.
