This spare part can be customised to the operational scenario, depending on the different materials and the variance in cutting geometry.

In the X-version, this cutter is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most break down applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

Spare parts of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life cycle.

Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be seriously weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.
