Detailed description

Counter knife GMCL0165-X01-E from CUTMETALL for recycling machines

Cutting performance and durability:

The wear behaviour and thus also the lifespan can be impacted by the material and the cutting shape. This means that the efficiency can be well configured to the application.

This component shown is made of tool steel in the X-option, which is our standard version for most operational scenarios. The hardness of this counter knife is in the medium range.

Here you are offered a good compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

Products of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its tool life.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of cutting tools of this variant, as the structure will otherwise be severely impaired. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.

General characteristics:

The measures of this product are 165mm in length, 51mm in width and 48mm in height.

Its cutting edge is inclined at 90°.

As the counter knife is part of our Eco Line, this item is a cost-effective alternative to the Premium Line.
