Comparatively, the W9-variant is softer than the X-option. Additionally, the W9-variation wears also faster. On the other hand, it has the advantage of increased toughness and is also insensitive to impurities.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.

However, this version must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the cutting tools. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

This product suits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 65mm. Due to the wide range of models, other configuration variations may be available.

When attaching, please also assure that the support of the knives is in an ideal condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
