This product shown is made of tool steel in the X-option, which is our standard version for most application areas. The hardness of this counter knife is in the medium range.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

In this variant, the components are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears homogenously over its lifetime.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of items of this variation, as the structure will otherwise be severely impaired. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The component suits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 65mm. Due to the broad range of models, other configuration variations may be available.

It is imperative that the counter knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with ideal supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
