Comparatively, the W9-option wears more rapidly than the X-version due to its lower hardness. Also the resistance to impurities and the high toughness of the W9-variation is a remarkable feature compared to the X-variation.

Products of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is crucial not to armour or weld on this type, as it will severely weaken the structure.

Fastening in the machine:

This counter knife can be combined with knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 65mm. Due to the wide range of models, further configuration options are possible.

When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
