This spare part can be customised to the break down application, depending on the various materials and varying cutting geometry.

In the X-option, this counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most break down applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

Here we offer you a perfect combination of resistance to wear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the service life of the counter knife.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is crucial not to armour or weld on this type, as it will seriously weaken the structure.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The cutting tool is fitting for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 50mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, other configuration variations can be realised.

When attaching the counter knife, please ensure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.

 

General characteristics:

The counter knife is 670mm long, 115mm wide and 24mm high.
