Here you are offered a good compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the tool life of the counter knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of spare parts of this option, as the structure will otherwise be severely impaired. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted right on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

The item fits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the wide range of shredding models, further configuration variants may be available.

When installing the counter knife, please ensure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
