By contrast, the W9-option wears faster than the X-variant due to its lower hardness. Also the resistance to impurities and the high toughness of the W9-variation is a remarkable feature compared to the X-version.

In this version, the components are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears consistently over its lifespan.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is crucial not to armour or weld on this type, as it will significantly weaken the structure.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted right on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

This product fits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the broad range of recycling models, other configuration variations may be available.

When attaching the counter knife, please assure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an ideal contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
