This product can be matched to the operational scenario, depending on the particular materials and the variance in cutting geometry.

In the X-variant, the counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard option in most break down applications. It is defined by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Cutting tools of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.

However, this version must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the components. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted right on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

The counter knife can be used for knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the broad range of shredder models, further configuration options are possible.

When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an intact condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
