The X-option of this item is made of tool steel. The variant has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-versions.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the tool life of the counter knife.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will severely weaken the structure.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted right on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

This spare part is ideal for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 40mm. With regard to the various range of models, further configuration variants can be realised.

When installing the counter knife, please ensure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
