In the X-option, this counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard version in most break down applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Products of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life span.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of components of this version, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally impaired. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted right on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

The counter knife can be combined with knives and cutters with a length and width of 80mm. Due to the broad range of shredder models, other configuration variations are possible.

When attaching, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
