In the X-version, the counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Components of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.

Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted right on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

The cutting tool is suitable for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 60mm. With regard to the various range of models, further configuration variants can be realised.

It is imperative that the counter knife is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with flat supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
