The counter knife can be used with the crusher, the shredder, the pre-shredder and the post-shredder of the Vecoplan brand.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

This spare part can be adapted to the area of application, depending on the particular materials and varying shape.

The X-variant of this component is made of tool steel. The option has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-versions.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Components of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life cycle.

We emphasise that this version should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted right on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

This counter knife can be combined with knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the wide range of models, further configuration variants are possible.

When attaching, please also assure that the support of the knives is in an undamaged condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
