The counter knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-variant, which is the standard variation in most operational scenarios.

Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

Products of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the spare parts. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted right on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

This product is applicable for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 80mm. With regard to the various range of models, further configuration variations can be realised.

When installing, please also assure that the support of the knives is in an intact condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
