The wear behaviour and thus also the knife life can be influenced by the material and the shape. This means that the performance can be well customised to the break down application.

This X-variation counter knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard version in most break down applications. Consequently, it has a medium hardness.

Here we offer you an ideal combination of resistance to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

In this variant, the products are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears homogenously over its lifetime.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of spare parts of this option, as the structure will otherwise be severely impaired. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted external on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

The product fits knives and cutters with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the broad range of models, other configuration variants may be available.

When installing, please also assure that the support of the knives is in an undamaged condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
