Cutting performance and durability:

The product can be configured to the area of application, depending on the particular materials and varying cutting geometry.

The W9-variant wears more rapidly than the X-option, but also has increased toughness and is resistant to impurities. However, the hardness of the W9-version is lower than that of the X-variation.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will significantly weaken the structure.

 

Fastening in the machine:

This component is applicable for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 95mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, other configuration options can be realised.

It is imperative that the counter knife is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with ideal supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
