The counter knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-variant, which is the standard option in most areas of application.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Products of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life span.

We highlight that this version should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted external on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

The cutting tool is ideal for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 60mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, other configuration variants can be realised.

When installing the counter knife, please assure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with an undamaged contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
