Through the use of various materials and the variance in the cutting geometry, the cutting tool can be matched to the area of application in terms of throughput and longevity.

The X-variant of this spare part is made of tool steel. This version has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-options.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

In this option, the components are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears consistently over its lifetime.

Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be acutely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted external on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

This product is ideal for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 60mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, other configuration variations can be realised.

When fitting the counter knife, please assure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an undamaged contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
