In the X-option, this counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most break down applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.

Hardfacing or welding on this version should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted external on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

This cutting tool is fitting for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 60mm. With regard to the various range of models, further configuration variants can be realised.

When installing the counter knife, please assure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with an undamaged contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
