The counter knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-option, which is the standard version in most applications.

Here we offer you a suitable combination of insensitivity to wear and toughness at the same time.

Products of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life cycle.

Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted external on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

This spare part is ideal for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 60mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, other configuration options can be realised.

When attaching the counter knife, please ensure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an undamaged contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
