This counter knife can be used for the crusher, the shredder, the pre-shredder and the post-shredder of the Vecoplan brand.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The performance of this cutting tool depends chiefly on the variant of the material and cutting shape.

Choosing the B2-version has the advantage of high tensile strength, but on the other hand it also is disadvantaged in terms of wear and tear.

In this option, the cutting tools are case-hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the spare part wears out less at the beginning of its life span, but its efficiency drops dramatically afterwards.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted external on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

The counter knife can be combined with knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the broad range of shredder models, further configuration variations are possible.

It is imperative that the counter knife is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with flat supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
