The toughness of this B1-option is so high, due to the special core strength, that the counter knife of this version perfectly fits applications where the input material is loaded with impurities. Nonetheless, it also wears out more rapidly.

A counter knife of this variation is case-hardened, with a decreasing hardness from the edge to the core. This makes the wear of the cutting tool unstable in terms of durability.

 

Fastening in the machine:
