Compatibility with machines:
This counter knife can be used in the Eldan SC 1408, Eldan SC, and Super Knife model series from the manufacturer Eldan Recycling.
Cutting performance and durability:
The cutting shape and the material used for constructing have a considerable effect on the resistance and product lifetime.
In comparison, the W9-version wears faster than the X-option due to its lower hardness. Also the insensitivity to impurities and the high toughness of the W9-variation is a noteworthy feature compared to the X-variant.
Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the service life of the counter knife.
It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of items of this version, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.
Fastening in the machine:
The counter knife is mounted external on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.
When fitting the counter knife, please assure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
General characteristics:
The measures of this component are 300mm in length, 224.9mm in width and 50mm in height.
