The counter knife can be used for the crusher, the shredder, the pre-shredder and the post-shredder of the Untha brand.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

Through the use of various materials and varying the cutting geometry, the product can be customised to the operational scenario in terms of throughput and lifetime.

The B1-variant has a high core strength, but is also more susceptible to wear. The advantage of this variation is its high toughness. Items of this design can also be used with input material that is contaminated with impurities.

A counter knife of this option is case-hardened, with a decreasing hardness from the edge to the core. This makes the wear of the cutting tool irregular in terms of durability.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted external on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

This spare part fits knives and cutters with a length and width of 130mm. Due to the wide range of recycling machines, other configuration variations may be available.

When attaching the counter knife, please assure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
