Cutting performance and durability:
The cutting geometry and the material used for constructing have a significant impact on the resistance and product lifespan.
Comparatively, the W9-variant wears more quickly than the X-version due to its lower hardness. Also the insensitivity to impurities and the high toughness of the W9-option is a notable feature compared to the X-variation.
In this option, the spare parts are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears consistently over its lifetime.
However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the cutting tools. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.
Fastening in the machine:
The counter knife is mounted external on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.
When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an ideal condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.

The measurements of the counter knife are 218.2mm long, 80mm wide and 40mm high.
