Comparatively, the W9-option is softer than the X-variation. Furthermore, the W9-variant wears also faster. On the other hand, it has the advantage of increased toughness and is also resistant to impurities.
Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.
Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be significantly weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.
Fastening in the machine:

This item is suitable for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 80mm. With regard to the various range of models, other configuration variations can be realised.
When attaching the counter knife, please assure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with an undamaged contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
