The X-variation of this product is made of tool steel. The option has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-options.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.

We emphasise that this variant should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

This spare part is ideal for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 80mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, other configuration variants can be realised.

When attaching the counter knife, please ensure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
