This item shown is made of tool steel in the X-version, which is our standard variant for most application areas. The hardness of this counter knife is in the medium range.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the tool life of the counter knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of products of this option, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The component suits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 80mm. Due to the wide range of recycling models, further configuration variants may be available.

When attaching, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
