For crushers, shredders, pre-shredders and post-shredders by the manufacturer Vecoplan the counter knife is perfectly fitting.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The efficiency of this spare part depends chiefly on the variant of the material and cutting shape.

In the X-variation, the counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard option in most break down applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

Here we offer you a suitable combination of resistance to wear and tear and toughness at the same time.

Items of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life cycle.

Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be seriously weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife can be used for knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the wide range of shredder models, other configuration variants are possible.

When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an ideal condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
