The wear behaviour and thus also the longevity can be influenced by the material and the cutting shape. This means that the efficiency can be well configured to the application area.

In the X-option, the counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variation in most applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the service life of the counter knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of spare parts of this version, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally impaired. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

This component is applicable for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 248mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, various configuration variants can be realised.

When attaching, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an undamaged condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
