Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the tool life of the counter knife.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the components. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

This component is fitting for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 80mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, further configuration variations can be realised.

When attaching the counter knife, please assure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
