In the X-version, this counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard option in most applications. It is defined by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Spare parts of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life cycle.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of spare parts of this variant, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

The counter knife can be combined with knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 80mm. Due to the wide range of shredder models, further configuration variations are possible.

When installing the counter knife, please ensure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
