This X-variation counter knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard option in most applications. Consequently, it has a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

In this variant, the products are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears evenly over its lifetime.

However, this version must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the spare parts. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

This spare part is fitting for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 80mm. With regard to the various range of models, other configuration variants can be realised.

It is imperative that the counter knife is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with flat supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
