This cutting tool shown is made of tool steel in the X-version, which is our standard variation for most application areas. The hardness of this counter knife is in the medium range.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

In this variant, the spare parts are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears consistently over its lifetime.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the components. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

The component fits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 80mm. Due to the wide range of models, further configuration variants may be available.

When attaching the counter knife, please ensure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
