The product presented is made of tool steel in the X-version, which is our standard option for most application scenarios. The hardness of this counter knife is in the medium range.

Here you are offered a good compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

In this variant, the items are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears homogenously over its lifetime.

However, this version must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the cutting tools. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

The spare part is ideal for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 80mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, various configuration variants can be realised.

It is imperative that the counter knife is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with intact supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
