This counter knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-version, which is the standard variant in most break down applications.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

Spare parts of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of items of this option, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

The counter knife can be combined with knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the broad range of shredder models, further configuration variations are possible.

When attaching, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an intact condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
