This counter knife can be used for the crusher, the shredder, the pre-shredder and the post-shredder of the Vecoplan company.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The spare part can be adapted to the operational scenario, depending on the various materials and varying cutting shape.

The high tensile strength is a feature of the B2-variation. However, it has a disadvantage in terms of wear behaviour.

A counter knife of this variant is case-hardened, with a decreasing hardness from the edge to the core. This makes the wear of the product unstable in terms of tool life.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

The counter knife can be combined with knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the wide range of shredder models, further configuration variations are possible.

When attaching the counter knife, please assure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
