In the X-version, this counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard option in most break down applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Spare parts of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life cycle.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the products. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

This product is applicable for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 60mm. With regard to the various range of models, other configuration variants can be realised.

When fitting the counter knife, please ensure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
