This counter knife can be inserted for the crusher, the shredder, the pre-shredder and the post-shredder of the Vecoplan brand.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the lifetime of the product can be influenced by the material and the cutting shape. This means that the efficiency can be well configured to the input material.

The counter knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-option, which is the standard variation in most areas of application.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.

However, this version must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the products. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

The product fits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the broad range of recycling machines, other configuration variants may be available.

When installing, please also assure that the support of the knives is in an undamaged condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
